We’re here to help those women who are willing and ready to help themselves.
We are one of the few organizations in Ottawa County to provide a faith-based transitional housing program just for women and their children. We help those women willing to actively participate in their personal, spiritual, and emotional growth, who seek to make permanent change in their lives.
MISSION – VISION – STATEMENT OF FAITH
Our Mission – My House Ministry exists to provide hope, housing, and guidance for women in need.
Our Vision – Women equipped to be independent, contributing community members, growing in their faith, through affordable and supportive housing.

We’re uniquely providing for this very desperate need!
Women coming from shelter, rehab, re-entry and other programs simply cannot afford safe and stable housing. The median rent for one bedroom in Ottawa County is $664/month. The minimum wage needed for this to be affordable (under 35% of income) is $12.78/hour. The average income of women in this situation is only $10/hour! Over 1400 single parents in Ottawa County need housing and the large majority of them are women. Every day we receive at least three calls from women or agencies desperately seeking housing. It hurts to have to say “No” just because we’re full.
